Read it even if u ain't got time...
This link is in no way meant to disrespect any person or any country... just read it yesterday n thought of sharing it.
hey, I think this did the mail rounds about a year back in India .Dunno if it really appeared in Outlook, but guess it makes some desi feel good for whatever reason.
If it's true, then I guess Madhu just wasted her time, cos the dude who wrote the original is from some other planet
"to live in a country where the only religion is to hang out at malls and accumulate consumer items you don’t really need but have been diktated by advertising to buy that, to keep the US economy going."
I think that could be applied to most of Europe and North America. You could replace "US" and put in Canada, Britain, France, Germany etc.
The reply was interesting because it forces those of us who live in a relatively "rich" life to look at what we have and what we do, and question whether it is truly necessary. Could we get by with less? In most cases yes.
