Operation Beggar!
A few days ago there was an article tht giving alms to beggars would now b considered as an offence. The 'generous donor' will have to face legal hassles. My mom n I were discussing this n she told me this incident which took place when she was in 4th grade. A similar move had been initiated by the then govt. n they had named it "Operation Beggar". So, the school had put an essay on it in the exam ppr. (wht da hell for the young kids)with the title as 'Operation Beggar'. One of my mom's frnd wasn't aware of the real thing n she wrote how some doctors caught hold of a beggar n operated upon him forcibly...lol

Actually a few days back tai ,sunil and myself also were discussing a similar kind of issue in which we were questioning ourselves that whether the practice of telling child-beggars to work instead of begging was a good idea with child-labour laws in place...But then we thought that there is no amicable solution to this than to let such children work without keeping restrictions till the economic situation of our country is well off to educate these children.Only thing we can do is to improve the work conditions!
