Beauty at it's best

It is time again for the most beautiful ladies from all over the world to showcase their best bods n brains to the entire universe for tht coveted "Miss Universe" title. I hope this year they have a panel to choose the beauty with brains n dont leave tht task to the ppl voting on net (like Miss World). I suspect tht this was deliberately done to avoid another Miss India frm the crown. How many Indians while away their time on net surfing n even more doing nothing but looking at pretty faces? (See the visitors count at the bottom of this page n u will easily understand why tht count is sooo low... lol) Neways let the best lady win n hope MSEB doesn't play a prank n I can sit back n enjoy the show.. ;-)

A big loss!

The death of Sunil Dutt is a gr8 loss to the film industry, sports ministry and the political circle as well. The new ways n the changes he brought in the field of sports was amazing. Also, I liked the way he opposed ppl like Nirupam. I wont forget him in the movie "Padosan". Only he could play the dullard in the big presence of Kishore Kumar n Mehmood. God bless his soul...

Gr8 Tennis Coming up...

French Open has started n with a bang. The upset of Myskina must be a slight blow to the gaining stronghold of Russian women. I m looking forward for the semi-final clash between Nadal n Federer.. if Feddie doesn't go out in the earlier rounds. Sania has also her match scheduled in 'bout 20 min frm now. For live updates n news...

Wht a day??

After so many days I had the time to watch the F1 n so I was damn happy 'bout it. When I switched on the TV set, still there was ample time for the start n so I was just surfing the channels. I stopped on Zee News n watched in horror as the reporter was questioning a 4 year child about his father's brutal murder. What the hell happened to reporting??? The child in question was a lone witness to the ghastly act in which his mother n her illicit lover had done to death her husband. The questions ranged frm how did they kill him n how the child felt after seeing his father's blood. Damn such reporters.
So, I chose to listen to some music n switched to MTV. VJ Shehnaz, looking as beautiful as always, was in some country (Japan I suppose) with a few guys roaming on the road. Actually, there were 3 teams competing (for what I dont know) n doing stuff beyond the realm of my imagination. Some of the "competing" arenas were licking a pavement, making a stranger lick ur body, spitting into another's mouth... whew!!! I turned off the TV (yup.. left the race too) n went out with my frnds. Hoping to catch the Monaco highlights tonight...

Super Challenge!!

October will be a clash of titans.. provided Australia don't make a whitewash of the "Rest of the World" team. My team for the One Day matches is:

1. Virendra Sehwag (IND) - Batsman
2. Sanath Jayasuriya (SRL) - Batsman (What a blazing start they can give the team)
3. Jacques Kallis (SAF) - Batsman/Bowler
4. Brian Lara (WI) - Batsman
5. Yousuf Youhana (PAK) - Batsman
6. Kumar Sangakkara (SRL) - Batsman/Wicketkeeper
7. Andrew Flintoff (ENG) - Bowler/Batsman
8. Irfan Pathan (IND) - Bowler
9. Daniel Vettori (NZL) - Bowler
10. Muthiah Murlitharan (SRL) - Bowler
11. Darren Gough (ENG) - Bowler

Reserve Force:
12. Sachin Tendulkar (IND) - Batsman (Would luv him to b in playing 11 but due to the current form...warming the bench is a better option)
13. Marcus Trescothick (ENG) - Batsman
14. Brendon McCullum (NZL) - Wicketkeeper
15. Makhaya Ntini (SAF) - Bowler

List ur team...

Indians leading the way at Cannes!

Feels good to see lots of Indian actors being recognised at an international level. Ash gave an inaugural speech at Cannes, Nandita is nominated in the jury n Mallika getting a spl. invite for the premiere of her movie opposite Jackie Chan. Hope Mallika wears something for the red carpet.. otherwise she will go only in the jewellery. It reminds me of a joke...
A sardar gets an invite to a black tie party. He is surprised when other ppl turn up wearing clothes too.

Koooool Movie..

Atleast a good movie (esp. after that Kaal). Actually it was good due to the double meaning jokes n stuff which would go well with the younger age grp.
The story revolves around two guys (Tusshar n Ritesh) who r designers (they r never seen to design anything except caressing manequins). Both r always short of cash n somehow find their ways out of messy situations. A rapist on prowl, a psychic psychologist n his wife, a beat-the-men-blue lady inspector & a psychology student r the other characters. Somehow the police reach a conclusion tht Tusshar is the rapist (the rapist after his deed murders the gal n leaves behind a rose n Tusshar carries a rose to pick up a gal.. so the confusion). Meanwhile, Ritesh cooks up fine stories of his one-night stands. He has been given the good vulgar dialogues n so is appreciated by the audience. Finally after a long chase all the confusion is cleared when the rapist surrenders himself (due to lack of publicity..????). Anupam Kher does a good job as a psychologist with his 3-ball theory (no...not wht u think... he carries 3 balls with him.. even after his wife holds them n says "Ur balls r in my hands"). Tusshar Kapoor is dumb as usual. I have never liked Isha n Neha so no comments on them. So if u haven't seen it go n enjoy.. just remember to keep ur brain aside n have a good laugh.

Take-off!!!

Yesterday, Star One celebrated Mother's Day by showing all the previous episodes of the serial "Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai". I found some episodes quite funny n had a good laugh too. But, saw one episode of "Batliwala House No. 43". It is such a bad take-off on one of my fav. shows "The Kumars' at No. 42". The Batliwala family seems to be nuts n the host's accent pissed me a lot. Simply Indianising the English version doesn't work. It should have some punch too. The same fate was met by around three serials which got "inspired" by "Sex & the City".

Blowing Money!!!!

Went to see the movie 'Kaal' on Saturday. It is such a dumb movie. It has a bad storyline, ugly yet half-clad heroines, unimaginable n unnecessary twists.. in short it is all shit. If u havent seen it yet pls dont watch it even on ur comp. or tv set. For the unthinkable story read on...
One of the so-called heroes of the film is assigned to investigate the stories surrounding a man-eating tiger. (The entry of John Ab. is soooo stupid.. the dir. is mad for sure) Then he with his wife with unshapely legs, which the director loves to show all the time, take off to the jungle. Another hero alongwith his big-cleavage gf n two pain-in-ass frnds also show up in the same jungle. Then commences a series of ghastly murders for which the blame-game starts. Now they suddenly realise tht this is the handi-work of a ghost n not a tiger. So both of our heroes n the bc gf run for their lives outta the jungle. (n hope tht they live happily ever after). He he... i bet u r full of sympathy for me.
